Pilates Classes

 

Come along and join a Pilates class and within eight weeks you’ll begin to notice an improvement with your strength, flexibility, mobility and posture. All classes use the  most up date exercises and research. Classes have a maximum of 10 people ensuring individual attention in a relaxed group atmosphere.

 

Fitness Pilates

Fitness Pilates is designed for mixed abilities, these classes utilise all of the Pilates principles and include many of the mat work exercises in traditional Pilates.

During a class the emphasis is on posture, strength, flexibility and mobility using the most up to date research and exercises making your class unique.

Fitness Pilates offers modifications, diversification and updated exercise prescription to provide a controlled body conditioning program appropriate for all everyone including people with certain back complaints. As the moves become more familiar and your ability improves week by week you will feel your confidence grow.

 

All Pilates class consist of the following components

Warm up with Mental and Physical preparation

Standing Fitness Pilates Functional Exercises

Mat work Fitness Pilates Exercises

Cool down and relaxation

On occasions we use equipment, foam rollers, bands and balls
